Tejasvi Surya: A Rising Star in Indian Politics

From RSS Swayamsevak to Parliamentarian

Lakya Suryanarayana Tejasvi Surya, born on 16 November 1990, is a rising star in Indian politics. His journey began as a dedicated RSS swayamsevak (volunteer) and has culminated in his election to the Lok Sabha (lower house of the Indian Parliament).

Entry into Politics

After the untimely demise of Anant Kumar in 2018, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) fielded Tejasvi Surya as its candidate in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Surya contested against BK Hariprasad of the Indian National Congress and emerged victorious with a significant margin.

Controversies and Allegations

Surya's political career has not been without its share of controversies. He has declared three pending criminal cases against him, three of which are classified as serious in nature. These allegations have been the subject of much debate and scrutiny in the media.

Achievements and Future Prospects

Despite the controversies, Tejasvi Surya has made significant contributions to Indian politics. He holds the distinction of being the youngest and first Kannadiga to serve as the president of the youth wing of the BJP, the largest political party in the world.

Surya is known for his oratorical skills, his strong ideological convictions, and his commitment to social service. He is widely regarded as a potential future leader of the BJP and Indian politics as a whole.
